Summary: Lumen VPN does not log your browsing history, traffic contents, destination IPs, or DNS queries. We do not store IP addresses, connection timestamps, or session durations. Limited, anonymized app analytics may be processed to improve reliability and performance.

1. Who We Are

Lumen Apps Studio designs and operates networking, VPN, and security products. Our main office is in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This policy explains how we handle information in the Lumen VPN application and related services.

2. Scope

This Privacy Policy covers the Lumen VPN mobile/desktop apps, in-app support, and our website pages that link to this policy. It does not apply to third-party sites you visit while connected through the VPN.

3. Data We Collect

By design, Lumen VPN minimizes data collection.

3.1 No Activity or Connection Logs

  • No browsing history, traffic destinations, data content, or DNS queries.
  • No connection timestamps, originating IP addresses, or session duration logs.

3.2 Basic App Diagnostics (Anonymized)

To improve reliability and performance, we may collect anonymized diagnostics such as crash events, app version, device type, and coarse interaction metrics (e.g., feature toggles). This may be processed via analytics SDKs configured to avoid personal identifiers.

3.3 Optional Support Data

If you contact us (e.g., via email), we will receive the information you provide (such as your email address and message contents) solely to handle your request.

4. How We Use Data

  • Maintain and improve app functionality, performance, and stability.
  • Diagnose crashes and prevent abuse (e.g., rate-limiting, service integrity).
  • Provide support and respond to user inquiries.

We do not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. We do not track users across apps or websites.

6. Data Retention

  • Anonymized diagnostics: retained only as long as needed for troubleshooting and trend analysis, then aggregated or deleted.
  • Support correspondence: kept until the request is resolved and for a reasonable period to improve service or meet legal requirements.
  • We do not retain activity logs or connection logs, by design.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR, CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data; object to processing; or request data portability. You may also have the right to opt-out of “sale”/“sharing” (we do not sell personal data) and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

8. Security & Law Enforcement

  • Traffic is encrypted using secure VPN protocols (e.g., WireGuard®, OpenVPN) aligned with platform security standards.
  • Least-privilege access, secure key management, and continuous patching aim to minimize risk.
  • Because we do not maintain activity or connection logs, we generally have no information to provide in response to requests about user traffic. Where legally required, we will comply with valid, narrowly scoped requests and notify affected users when permitted by law.

9. Data Location & International Transfers

Diagnostics/support data may be processed in data centers outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect such transfers.

10. Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or a higher age where required by local law). If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove the data.
